The 18-hole, private course at Hoover Country Club was built in a valley, providing lovely views for a serene game of golf. George Cobb designed the course, which opened for play in 1962. The scenic course is situated on relatively flat terrain, making it easily walkable. It is suitable for all levels of golfers with four sets of teeboxes to accommodate different handicaps and abilities. The golf course features open fairways and a creek that flows through it, coming into play on several holes. Hoover Country Club also features nice practice facilities such as a putting green and chipping area. There is also an on-site golf instructor and pro shop.
